The Brotherhood of Koukouli "Evgenios Plakidas"
welcomes you to Koukouli of Zagori

One of the 46 villages of the Zagori region. It belongs to the municipality of Tymphi, located 38 km from Ioannina with an altitude of 870 m in the middle of the village.
It was formed as a settlement before 1430 AD and is built in a special traditional style.
Koukouli was named after the very big stones found in the area ( latin "cuculla" = cover) or after the sericulture the residents had been practicing.
